Sarah Kennedy, Registered Physiotherapist Advanced Cervical & Vestibular Therapist

Sarah has been a physiotherapist for 14 years, and is also a performing professional jazz vocalist. She is particularly skilled in assessing musculoskeletal dysfunction as it relates to vocal and instrumental performance, and she has a particular passion for assisting all performers (actors, dancers, etc) in reaching their artistic goals and dreams.  She is able to provide her patients with a very personalized strategy for removing physical barriers to their creative practice.  Sarah also has specialized training as an advanced cervical, vestibular and TMJ (jaw) therapist..

Fabio Bertoni, Registered Physiotherapist

Fabio currently specializes in orthopaedic rehabilitation and education at VGH, and sees a variety of orthopedics, multi trauma and neurology patients.  He has studied many post-graduate courses for injury prevention in runners, spinal dysfunctions and post-surgical joint rehabilitation.  Fabio firmly believes that every patient is unique and deserves an individualized treatment program. His treatments combine manual therapy, dry needling, myofascial release, kinesio-taping strategies, and precise, targeted exercise prescription.

Joe Cheng, Registered Physiotherapist

 Joe Cheng graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2007, and has worked extensively in private practice and with professional lacrosse teams, professional Australian football players, Canadian hockey teams, and varsity rugby and basketball teams. Joe has a certification in medical acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) and has trained with Diane and LJ Lee in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) approach. His individualized treatments combine manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, myofascial release, and specific exercise prescriptions.
