Osteopathy is a system of assessment and treatment focused on the inter-relationship between structures and functions of the body. Hands-on treatment is applied to various tissues, such as the neuro-musculoskeletal systems, and can be supplemented with functional movements strategies.

Jai Keighery, DOMP M.HSc, B.Sc

Jai is Australian and graduated with a Masters in health science (osteopathy) and bachelor of science from Victoria University. He utilizes a hands-on approach with osteopathic manual therapy (soft tissue release, joint mobilisation, stretching) with a keen interest in movement screening and exercise rehab. Jai has a professional background in university education as an educator for physiotherapy and osteopathy students in anatomy, physiology, and clinical skills. He has always enjoyed working with athletes from a range of sports such as soccer, athletics, Australian rules football, and netball where he’s provided first aid and taping techniques.

He moved to Vancouver recently and is involved in running and rock climbing communities. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him running on trails or climbing, he is also a climbing coach/ instructor at Hive Heights.
